Who we are
A small provision with a big heart.
Gateways Education and Wellbeing Ltd provides alternative provision and personalised education for children and young people who need a different way to access learning. We operate across our two sites in Keighley (Steeton and Haworth).
We work with families, schools and local authorities to support students experiencing barriers such as anxiety, emotionally based school avoidance, sensory overwhelm and unmet special educational needs. Our small provision combines teaching with support for wellbeing, helping learners develop confidence and work towards meaningful goals.
Programmes draw on our Nurture, Curriculum and Reintegration pathways. We begin by understanding the individual and agree support around their needs, interests and aspirations. Alongside our daytime provision, we offer tuition and Gateways Explorers holiday and after school provision.
Parents and carers can contact us directly about tuition, clubs or possible education support. You don't need a diagnosis or EHCP to start a conversation.
We work with schools to provide subject tuition, a personalised daytime placement or preparation for a return to a suitable setting, with attendance and progress shared through LearnTrek.
We deliver agreed elements of EOTAS packages and commissioned programmes, with short, medium and longer-term goals and regular reviews with the commissioner.
Students can move between the pathways as needs emerge and change.
Pupils may begin on any pathway of support and move between all three. Support is blended and reviewed regularly to enable safe progression towards curriculum learning and/or reintegration.
